Strengthening transparency in the Polish election campaign 2023 via organizing citizens’ assemblies and staging public hearings of candidates to the Parliament.

EMI Poland’s Summit planned for the beginning of March 2023 in Warsaw, with participation of East European and American partners.

There are many scattered and isolated attempts to collect and catalogue abuses of the rule of law in Poland. Many of them are required by several EU institutions as necessary conditions for European projects to be financed. We need a centralised “secretariat” that would both coordinate and register all ongoing cases of state violations of the rule of law.

Preparation of a pioneering handbook on “Education for Democratic and Ecological Citizenship”. The work on the handbook will be preceded by consultations with teachers and pupils from a chosen gymnasium.

The project involves short trips to selected countries to study their participatory democracy in order to forge the best model for Poland.

n order to ensure transparency of the elective process, engage citizens in the democratic process, and counteract partisan and polarizing politics, we wish to organize citizens’ assemblies in each of the 41 elective districts.
